When things don't go your way, you either get bitter or better. What's your choice?
At a recent Pets Anonymous reunion, the attendees were discussing which pets they had recently owned. James used to have a dog. The person who used to own a mouse now owns a cat, but the person who used to have a cat does not have a mouse. Kevin has now or used to have a dog, I can't remember which. Becky has never owned a mouse. Only one person now owns the pet they previously had. Rebecca said very little throughout the meeting and nobody mentioned the hamster. Can you determine who owns which pet and what they used to own?
Tip 9 of 21
Cry if you must.
Crying is a form of emotional release.
Forget about the 'man sheds blood and not tears' mentality.
God gave us THIS natural FREE way of removing our sadness or lowering that stress level.
Yet, because of wanting to appear macho, many men bottled-up their tension, which in turn create stress on the heart.
No Good!
Oh Macho Men, you can cry when no one is around.
When you are bathing.
When you are in bed, face buried in pillow.
So cry, if you must.
'Cos its the most natural way to reduce your stress.
At the recent spring fete, four keen gardeners were displaying their fine roses. In total there were four colours and each rose appeared in two colours. Mr Green had a yellow rose. Mr Yellow did not have a red one. Mr Red had a blue rose but not a green one, whilst Mr Blue did not have a yellow one. One person with a red rose also had a green one. One person with a yellow rose also had a blue one. One of the persons with a green rose had no red. Neither of the persons with a yellow rose had a green one. No person has two roses of the same colour and no two persons had the same two colour roses and their names provide no clues. Can you tell who had which colour roses?
Alright, I'm going to be really bad today. Tim Urban finally went home!
This has been a really long wait....
Tell me Michael Lynch will be the next to leave American Idol alright?
What can I say?! Crystal Bowersox is THE one to win with Lee Dewyze chasing behind.
With just her voice to start off, how can anyone beat that fantastic originality?! *Kudos*
Seriously, I'm thankful there is Crystal Bowersox and Siobhan Magnus to really give us the icing and definitely thankful that not all are like Tim Urban. *giggle* Oh well, he is a funny guy, in that way, he is entertaining to watch, but as idol?! Naahhh....
American Idol, have you been watching?
Tip 8 of 21
This is one of my favourites.
Ok, its back to understanding yourself. Are you getting it yet? Being stress free or less stress is all within your control. *Smile*
Do you know what is your most efficient time of the day?
Morning?
Afternoon?
Night?
For me, its late night, or rather wee hours.
I can do twice or even thrice as many things when the clocks strikes 12 midnight.
Everything just falls into place.
Somehow I can think faster, type faster, respond faster, more cheerful, more laughable when its past midnight.
Do what you dread most during your most efficient time.
I'm serious!
Whatever that you hate doing most, do it at that time.
You will find that its not so dreadful afterall and most importantly, you complete it faster!!!
*smile*
If ironing clothes is the thing you hate most, do it at your most efficient time slot of the day. You can sail through it without you knowing. *wink*
Most people likes to do what they love most first.
That is called pampering yourself.
That is not efficiency.
You see, when you do what you like most at your 'best time'. Yes, you truly enjoyed yourself, but the dreadful things that must be done are left for your 'worst time' of the day. You take an even longer time to do. You sulk. You complain. You get stressed up!
Do your most dreadful tasks at your most efficient time. So that you breeze through it.
Do your favourites at your least efficient time. And you can slowly enjoy it.
Ain't that perfect?
*wink*
Justin Bieber has been trending in Twitter for weeks!
So much so he has become a love and hate icon in that social network.
It is being debated if his name was the most trending topic there ever! Some bieber haters want it to stop, but bieber lovers simply refused! *shake head* Fancy fighting over someone who is not even related to them by blood.
Seriously, if it wasn't for Twitter, I would NEVER have known.Someone so young and yet popularity has reached the heavens, I would say.
I think, one of the most extreme tweets I happened to read by chance had to be this "I would love to be Justin Bieber's girlfriend." ~ a 45year old woman
*Super Faint*
Messrs Butcher, Baker, Carpenter and Plumber are currently attending an annual convention. No-one is currently, nor ever has been in the same profession as their name and no-one has had the same profession twice. Charlie has never been a carpenter and Mr Butcher is now a plumber. Dave used to be a butcher, whereas Mr Brian Baker never has. Mr Plumber is not called Eddie and Mr Carpenter did not used to be a butcher. Can you determine the full names of each of the attendees, along with their current and previous profession?
What can I say? It was Elvis theme on American Idol last night!!! And to me None of the top 9 did well! Alright, this may sound really shocking, but the one that I DID enjoy was Tim Urban's performance, ok, maybe Lee and Crystal too.
So who went home today?
Andrew Garcia (its really time to go, no matter how much you impressed me with your Straight Up)
and
Katie Stevens (I think its a trend now. When you are against the judge, you are against America.)
Good bye....
Tip 7 of 21
This is probably one of the most common advices given by the professionals.
Prioritize!
Get the priorities right!
My priority ladder goes like this:
(Most important to least important)
1- If I do not do that, I will die! (eg. having my meal)
2- This is an eye sore! (eg. a leaking toilet)
3- This has been bugging me the whole day! (eg. I need to buy my facial wash)
4- I MUST do this! (eg. change the elastic bands on the boys' shorts)
5- I have to do this! (eg. folding clothes)
6- I should do this. (eg. replying emails)
7- Oh well, its time I do this. (eg. cut fingernails)
8- Aiya, if only I have time to do this. (eg. posting my clearing stuff on eBay)
9- Hhhmmm... is it really necessary to do this? (eg. changing the background of my blogs)
10- HUH?! What? You mean I've got to do this? (eg. whatever that might be)
Everyday, categorise what you need to do daily or for that particular day.
For me, its 10.
For you it may just be 3?
eg.
1- Do or Die!
2- Can survive not doing!
3- What the hack!
*laugh*
However long or short your list or categories might be, you need to identify at least the ones on the VERY TOP!
Some tell me that they cannot identify. Their usual sentence, "There are so many things?!!! I do not know which to do first!"
My reply? "What is the first thing that comes to your mind?"
Yup! There you go! You have got the very first thing already. *wink*
Its really not that tough to pioritise.
Once, the bugging ones are gone, naturally stress level decreases.
*smile*
After the recent annual marathon, the judges were comparing notes to determine who finished where. From their notes, can you help them to reconstruct the final result?
Matthew Merryman beat Tom Trent and Jimmy James. Peter Piper beat Jimmy James, Tom Trent and Alan Ardman. Zach Zebra lost to Peter Piper. Graham Goodfellow beat Tom Trent. Zach Zebra beat Frank Flintstone. Graham Goodfellow lost to Frank Flintstone and Peter Piper. Tom Trent beat Brian Brick. Alan Ardman beat Zach Zebra, Kevin Kingfisher and Graham Goodfellow. Kevin Kingfisher lost to Graham Goodfellow and Matthew Merryman. Brian Brick beat Kevin Kingfisher. Matthew Merryman lost to Alan Ardman and Zach Zebra. Frank Flintstone beat Tom Trent, Matthew Merryman and Brian Brick. Tom Trent lost to Jimmy James and Alan Ardman. Jimmy James beat Graham Goodfellow and Brian Brick.
Oh man!
Last night was Awesome!
I was moving and dancing a little when Crystal, Andrew and yes yes yes even Tim Urban were performing. Right, I know, I have been saying a thousand times that I do not like Tim Urban, but hey, he was really good yesterday.
I teared a little when Casey performed. Man! He was so INTO it!
Then there was Siobhan. Yes there were certain moments when she went really high and really soft, Wow! That was truly beautiful.
And there was young Katie, no doubt yesterday was a wonderful vocal performance. *Smile*
Guess what? Lee!!! Lee was THE BEST (to me) last night! I felt like I was watching HIS concert! *laugh*
When I knew it was the Beatles theme this week, I was soooooooooooooo hoping he would sing 'Hey Jude' and man! I was sooooooo happy he did! *Grin*
The only 2 performance, NOT PERSON, which did not impress me was Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynch or better known as Big Mike.
So the viewers' decisions were correct! Big Mike was up for elimination. Aaaawwww.... but why did the Judges saved him?! *pout*
I would rather they use such a Golden Save Card for later use.
Seriously, I don't really feel much about Big Mike, I think he is getting a little arrogant as the competition goes on. Hhhmmm.... don't like. I really cannot understand what the American Idol judges were thinking! *humph*
Tip 6 of 21
Do you really know yourself well? What are your triggers for bad mood? For myself, it is making last minute decisions or receiving last minute changes. I do not like that. But there are many times I had to and if that last minute decision was made in the beginning of the day, Wham! There goes my mood for the rest of the day.
Some people's trigger is being late. Having others to wait for them means everything to these people, hence that can spoil their entire day. So if you are such a person, train yourself to be more efficient, learn time management, perfect your timing or if you cannot, force yourself to be an early bird.
Find your stress trigger buttons. Analyse them and change yourself to reduce the frequency of triggering them.
Today, something different. Go here for your quiz:

OMG!
Finally!!!
The Andrew Garcia whom I loved is BACK!!!
I teared.
I have been rooting for him for WEEKS man!!!
OMG!
I was so afraid he might be voted off before he find that 'soul' back.
Alright, enough said, here's his performance.
Andrew, PLEASE... stay in this zone man!! Stay...
Then again, Lee Dewyze, undoubtedly gave the BEST performance.
Enjoy!
And Errrr.... can Tim Urban please be the next to go home?
