Progress of New House - Update 3

This is Noise Pollution to Millions, but THIS IS MUSIC to my ears....

Above Video was taken on Day 2 of Hacking.

 Ohhhhhhhhhh yes!

Hacking has began on 29th October and scheduled to complete on 31st.
This was how it went.

Broken pieces of rocks, tiles, concrete of all sorts everywhere!
Never would I have imagined myself to (one day) LOVE rubble so much!
*laugh*

======

Everything started on 26th October, Friday.
NOOoooo, NOT the hacking, but the renovation process.
26th October is a Public Holiday, Hari Raya Haji, no NOISY work was allowed.
So work like removing of electrical stuff is perfectly alright.
The noise level that the electrician created is even QUIETER THAN my active kids jumping around the house!
*laugh*

BEFORE hacking can begin, the electrician needs to remove all the lighting, wiring casing and wires first.

As we would be knocking the storeroom wall down, this first step is very crucial.

We were there to see him start and were there again after he left.
Oh yes!
Our level of enthusiasm and eagerness was and STILL IS that GREAT!

29th October, Monday : First Day of Hacking

 =====

30th October, Tuesday : Second Day of Hacking

We went there twice.
First time was after we fetched our elder son from School in the afternoon and we were greeted by debris at the front door!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo EXCITING!!!

We pushed opened the door and did the short video you saw at the beginning of this blog post.
The two workers were giving their full concentration at ripping the floor up!
*thumb up*

When we went back again in the Late Afternoon, after we fetched our younger son from school, the hardworking men had left, 'cos its a regulation that all NOISY work MUST stop by 5pm on weekdays.

All the mess which we saw at the entrance earlier were dumped back into the 'whacked-up ' house

Master Bedroom = DONE!

Study / Computer Room = 3/4 Done.

We are NOT that type of people who watch over workers/staff like a hawk.
Even when we were in our retail business in the past, we give our staff/worker full trust.
We kept going twice a day because we just want to be part of every big or small, tiny or enormous progress of our new house.

Yes, I almost felt like picking up the drill and helped to drill along too!
*laugh*

31st October, Wednesday : Third Day of Hacking

Last Day of Hacking!
Whoo-hoo!

The house was BRUTALLY ABUSED!!!
*huge laugh*
