The proposal was done weeks ago and since then, preparation was long underway but because nothing was confirmed, so I had to keep my big mouth shut!

Not being able to announce this AWESOME NEWS to the WORLD weeks ago, was like having a piece of most heavenly New York Cheesecake in my mouth and not be able to swallow it! *laugh*

Minutes ago, FINALLY the wedding dinner venue is booked! So now I can shout to the world,

"My Sis Is Getting Married This Year, 

6th December!"

Oooops! I did it again! *laugh*

My only Sis, only Sibling and only person I grew up sharing the same bedroom for two decades, is on her way to a life of blissful marriage!

I am soooooooooooooooo happy for her!

Congrats Sis! *Super Duper Hugs*

So is her marriage truly confirmed? Let's do it the Singaporean way, YES! CONFIRM, DOUBLE CONFIRM, plus CHOP and DOUBLE CHOP CHOPPED!

Are You Missing Some Friends on Facebook?

I received this message from one of my Facebook friend. Many are aware of this and others have changed this setting more than a year ago. But, there are still plenty out there who are oblivious to this, I was one of them, are you?

Have you noticed that you are only seeing updates in your newsfeed from th...e same people lately? Have you also noticed that when you post things like status messages, photos and links, the same circle of people are commenting and everyone else seems to be ignoring you?

Don't worry, everyone still loves you and nobody has intentionally blocked you. The problem is that a large chunk of your friend/fan list can't see anything you post and here's why:

The "New Facebook" has a newsfeed setting that by default is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people who you've recently interacted with or interacted the most with (which would be limited to the couple of weeks just before people started switching to the new profile). So in other words, for both business and personal pages, unless your friends/fans commented on one of your posts within those few weeks or vice versa - you are now invisible to them and they are invisible to you!!

HERE'S THE FIX: On the homepage click the "Most Recent" title on the right of the Newsfeed, then click on the drop down arrow beside it and select "Edit Options", click on "Show Posts From" and change the setting to "All Of Your Friends and Pages" (you can also access the "Edit Options" link at the very bottom of the facebook homepage on the right) Note: Business pages do not have a newsfeed however page owners should adjust the settings on their personal accounts.

So now you can view all of your friends and fans again. 

However, YOU ARE STILL INVISIBLE to a large portion of your list. 

If you want the large portion of your friends to SEE you, then you must get the word out to ALL your friends and fans by telling them to adjust their settings.

March 4, 2011 - Unilever United States, Inc. today announced a limited recall of Skippy® Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy® Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread, because it may be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). No other Skippy® products are affected by this recall.

The product was distributed to retail outlets in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

YOURS TRULY CONES are labeled as Milk Free and persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity or intolerance to Milk products run the risk of serious or life-threatening injury if they consume products with milk ingredients.

I FOUND MY WEDDING RING!!!!!

Yesterday night, because of something else, I wrote
"With Faith, Miracles Follow...."
on my Facebook Status.

And this morning
I FOUND MY WEDDING RING!!!!!!

OMG!

It was in my clothing drawer.
It probably dropped when I was keeping or pulling out a shirt or something.
Today
I decided to wear a top which I haven't worn for a really long time
and Ta-Daa.... It dropped OUT from one of the shirts and
"tap-tapped" onto the wooden board.

OMG!

I gripped it in my hand
Ran out
"Dearie!!!! I found My Ring!!!!"
Hugged him so tight.
I cried so hard!
Tears of Joy!
I couldn't stop crying with my arms still wrapped around him....

......till he said "Ok, ok.... I have to help Binbin wear his shirt or he will catch a cold."
(my boy just came out from the bathroom)
.....before I was willing to let him go....

I think I have to change my status to
"With Faith, Money Comes!!!!"

I had been wondering why did my children's blog's traffic dropped so drastically over the past few days. Today Ling, told me that she was not able to receive updates from my blog, ALL ABOUT YOUR CHILD for 3 days.

I realised that my feed, http://allaboutyourchild.com/feed is not working and I have no idea why or how to solve it. But I have sent out 'urgent calls' to all the techni-gurus that I know of, hope this problem gets resolved FAST.

Critical! I Need Your Help!

Ok, this is serious stuff. Its been bottled with a cork stuck on the top, thrown into the sea for about a month now. Yet the current brought it back to shore, right back to my doorstep.

We will be having a very difficult time for the next 4 months. *fingers crossed* This is already looking at the positive side. One of Allan's deal burst this week (read details here).

This deal was suppose to be completed in late February, meaning money in the pocket. But now its gone and the next commission is in June, that is IF THIS JUNE-CASE do NOT BURST TOO!. Yes, this 'June' case is ALSO on the Bubble. *Arrrghhhh*

I don't know how to describe how CRITICAL my situation is now, all I can say is: I'm willing to do ANYTHING at least for the NEXT 4 MONTHS, except to sell my butt, which probably doesn't worth much anyway.

ANYTHING! Even if it means to leave my kids and stay in a office for 12hours.

DO YOU HAVE any news on company needing part-timers or project basis workers for assignments?

I AM DESPERATE, like ants on the frying plate. I am so fidgety right now because I might not be able to pay for my boys' school fees from May onwards. Yes, its that serious. I'm not joking. I'm not even in the mood to joke now.

Every day I have people coming to me with their problems, I'm giving advices and 'counseling' session, if I was a professional counselor and charging with every email or sms, Whoo-hoo, I'll be rich!

Or with the number of readers (not commenters) I have now and each DONATING $1 to me. MY-o-my! It would be enough to pay for my electrical bills!

I HATE IT! I'm so 'up-to-the-wall' that I am even doing reviews which only pay $0.69 for 150 words! How pathetic am I? No, I'm not pathetic, I'm standing at the edge of the cliff with a pair of ice-skating boots! That's how UNSTABLE I am now!
