My Sony Ericsson Was Hungry

2.45am,
I checked my Sony Ericsson phone for the last time, to see if I have unread messages.
No messages
No wall paper (My artwork)
No photos
No videos
No ring tones
No message tones

No
NO
NO
NO
NO!!!!

EVERYTHING WAS GONE!!!!
My Sony Ericsson Was So Hungry, She Ate Everything!

She ate the photos of my children's happy moments
She ate the videos of my boys doing the Michael Jackson moves
She ate the songs which I loved so much
She ate them all up for a heavy supper
My Song Ericsson was THAT Cruelly Hungry!!!

at 2.45am
ready for bed
eyes are tired
"could it be my eyes playing tricks on me?"

I double checked
I triple checked

EVERYTHING WAS REALLY GONE!!!

I admire my calmness
I didn't scream
I didn't yell
I didn't run to my sis and cry

I put down the phone
Still in shock
Still lost for words
I went to bed thinking
"No point crying over spilled milk..."

But I'm the innocent party, I DIDN'T EVEN touch the milk,
my Sony Ericsson drank it all up!

*Deep Deep Sigh*

***Possibility of foul play by kids were ruled out.

Singapore Idol 2009 Winner

Sezairi Sezali beat hot favourite Sylvia Ratonel to be crowned the winner of Singapore Idol at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday.

I guessed everyone hoped to have a female icon for a change this season....
but the results have spoken loud and clear...
the 'everyone' is NOT truly 'EVERYONE'
*giggle*

First season I followed quite closely, it was something 'new' afterall...
Second season... hmmm... on and off, I mean the switching of channels during show time... *giggle*

This season...
after watching 2 quarter finals.
STOPPED completely.

You?
did you follow through?
From beginning till the end?

A Big Sea, am I?

You, you, you
So many of you came to me
Through the days of my life

The depressed you
The angry you
The helpless you
The fearful you
The disappointed you
The guilty you
So many of you....

I thank you for your trust
Yet, how can I tell you that I wish I had not your trust

A Big Sea, am I?
You wrote a secret note
Slipped it into the bottle
Corked it

Threw right into me
I couldn't retaliate
It came as a surprise

I was moved by your trust
You decided not to bury it under the sand
You decided not to burn it
But you decided to share with me
I Thank you

Bottles after bottles
All my life
They have been thrown to me without warning
I promised that it will be safe with me
I promised and I kept ALL of them

Yet nature has its way around
The wind blew
The current was strong
Your bottle was back to shore
There is a saying that goes 'Truth Will Out'

I DID NOT make the wind blew
I DID NOT raise the current
That's The Law of Nature
That's what's governing this world we live in

Your bottle was discovered
Your secret uncovered

Will you blame me?
When it wasn't even me?
Cos I have NO VOICE in my throat
I don't even have a throat

You trusted me
So you came and poured your heart
Yet where have that trust gone to now?

****All my life, some people call 'this' a talent, others see 'it' a gem. The trust that people see in me; to tell me their deepest secret. Their darkest thoughts. Their most regretful moment. Yet, I see this as a burden. To know so many secrets.

This sea is so filled with bottles.
The tide has rose to flood the land.
This sea is burdened.
And this burden gets heavier with each new bottle thrown into my arms.

A Big Sea, am I?
You think I have no threshold?
Let me tell you,
I HAVE.
And now I wish I could dry up....

Did You Know?

Did you know most lipsticks contain fish scales?

Why are there BRAINLESS PEOPLE???!!!

Some people talk without thinking about the consequences.
Some people act without thinking about the results.

Time and Time again, I have said,
Life is full of choices, either make it, or break it.

Seriously, no choice is right or wrong.
Just different outcome.
Its our emotions that determine if its deemed right or wrong.

But guess what?
I'm not the one making the choice today.
I'm not the one talking.
I'm not the one acting.

Someone made a SILLY CHOICE to talk about me and act upon me!
Guess what?
I do not even know this person?!!!
*faint*

Its 'SOMEONE' who said something in PUBLIC that could CUT my income stream, ruin my reputation!
Its these 'brainless' people who thought their words of praise could lift me up. But the truth is her words had crashed me down to HELL level 18!

OMG!
This world is truly Rojak!
A mixture of all sorts!
Good to be eaten.
Good to be thrown.

Why do brainless people exist???!!!!
*AAAaaaaaaarrrrrggghhhhhhhhhh*

The worse part is, she is NOT CONTACTABLE!!!!!
I had met a GHOST!
*faint*

Singapore Monsoon???!!!!

Read this super short but 'scary' article over here.
Since it was sooooooooo short, I thought I might as well get the whole thing over...hope I didn't violate any copyright rules... anyway, I did LINK BACK, so I guess it should be 'good enough'.

"SINGAPORE: The National Environment Agency’s Meteorological Services Division said on Thursday that a monsoon surge is expected to intensify from December 18 to 20.

Moderate to heavy intermittent showers are expected, accompanied by moderate to strong winds.

Coupled with high tides of up to 3 metres, this could result in flash floods, particularly in low—lying areas of Singapore such as Lorong Buangkok, Jalan Seaview, Meyer Road and Everitt North Road.

In the event of flash floods from heavy storms, the public can call the PUB at 1800—284—6600 for assistance, to report obstructions in drains or to check the flood situation."

Anyone staying around these areas??

I Visit, You Visit, I Don't, You Don't

How many of you agree with me that in the Blogosphere, this seemed to be the number one rule.
When you visit a blog, that blogger visits back.
When you don't, that blogger doesn't too.

Some call this "li-shang-wang-lai" (in Chinese).
In other words, its call "returning the kindness".

Its true, but its sad too.
That's how the blogosphere works, I think....
Unless I am Extremely popular or when my site gives freebies away...
Well, that's what I observed...

Just like this school holiday, when I am so busy with Keatkeat's graduation and getting him ready for new school life (there are SO MANY THINGS to prepare! My oh My!), I hardly had time to blog.

And EVERY YEAR during this time, Allan and I will be busy helping my BIL to deliver his cards, diaries, calendars... and hence the MORE I do NOT have time to blog hop to my friends' blogs.
The following site shows SOME of the things we are helping to deliver this year...
www.calendartp.com.sg

In fact, its pretty much the same as last year. During November and December, my (returning) blog visitors drop drastically, needless to say the number of comments.

Yet, it is also this time of the year, I know who are the ones who truly love my blog(S), irregardless if I had the time to hop over to theirs.

So I want to take this opportunity to say Thank You to those of you who have been faithfully coming over, whether comment or not, I know you came, cos' I saw your footprints.... *wink*

Thank you....

I Love To Blog!

There is a reason why I think I will never leave the Blog World....
I just Love to Blog because it is an avenue for me to vent my anger and frustrations.
(my faithful readers, please bear with me, 'cos for the benefit of my new readers, I'll have to explain this again. *giggle*)

I am a person who CANNOT accept a tinge of unhappiness in me. I need to keep talking to different people or 'things' about the unhappy event....
So much so that I get numb to the incident that I NO LONGER feel upset anymore.
Love me?
Hate me?
That's Me!

So blogging is a great tool for me to SHOUT IT OUT!!!

Got my hint for today's post?
Yup!
I'm going to SHOUT IT OUT!

I'm pissed!

How do you define a friend?
No!!
Seriously!!!!
Under what circumstances do you call a friend, "friend"?

I consider myself a nice person.
But I am NOT STUPID!

Do NOT use my relations to try to benefit yourself.
Do NOT attempt to use my network to give yourself a headstart above the rest.
Do NOT even try to get info from me so that you can EARN all the credits.

I can be REALLY NICE,
BUT,
I am NOT stupid enough to be used like a pawn on your chess board!

When I go all out for a friend, I do without you telling me.
I do it wholeheartedly as if it was a matter of MY life and death.

When I go all out for a friend, I do it without thinking of getting being rewarded.
I do it out of my own free will.
Even if I get back-stabbed (which is so damn often *eyes rolled*), I only have myself to blame.

BUT....
Do NOT order me to do it.
Do NOT think that I am obligated to do it for you.
I know you think that I SHOULD be doing it for you, all because you call me your "friend".
You were upset when I didn't do as YOU TOLD ME TO....
I'm sorry....

I am apologising NOT because I regret not doing as you 'instructed'.
I am apologising because You understand too little of me....

Know my BACKGROUND.
Know the environment that I grew up in.
Know the businesses that I had gone through.
I am a TOUGH NUT to crack behind that supposedly 'nice' appearance.
(ok, I know I am going to lose some readers after this post....)

This is my BIG Shout Out Box...
It is also my relief corner....
I just had to get rid of that awful feeling....
And I am so glad I did this.

I feel better now.....
*Smile*

Song Sharing Sunday - #48

Song Sharing Sunday Badge

Every Song reminds me of a person, an event, a place, a smell, a taste....a secret, do you have a song to share today?

Martina McBride - The Christmas Song

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos

Everyone knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Will help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to 92
Although it's been said many times many ways
Merry Christmas to you

And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to 92
Although it's been said many times many ways
Merry Christmas to you

Ok, humans are staying a distance from me, but I had forgotten to speak the language of virus! AAAaAAAraaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!

Today, one of my 'oldest and most faithful' reader sent me an email saying that when she hopped over to my Parenting blog for the past 2 days, a message came up "Malware Detected".

Fantastic! *eyes rolled*
If only malware works as well as tupperware!
Damn!

Immediately I sort help from my hosting company. They are looking into it and may just at the wave of their magic wands REMOVE the tracking virus COMPLETELY!
Yet, if it has been 'eating' too much flesh from my blog,
I may need to REFORMAT EVERYTHING!!!!

Damn it!!!

2-3 years of sweat and blood of hard work and emotions all gone because of an idiot Malware?!
AAAaaarrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhh...

What an Awful way to start my Morning!!!!
Damn!

*eyes rolled*

**Suhanya, Thank you my dear for letting me know... 'cos if it stays in my site for too long, it can be disastrous..... Thank you... Love ya!

Denmark

I received this awful email today.....

"This happens
every year in Feroe iland in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants are young teens.
WHY?
To show that they are adults and mature.... BULLLLsh
In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other, killing or looking at the cruelty “supporting like a spectator”
Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, it’s near instinction and they get near men to play and interact. In a way of PURE friendship
They don’t die instantly; they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hocks. And at that time the dolphins produce a grim extremely compatible with the cry of a new born child.
But he suffers and there’s no compassion till this sweet being slowly dies in its own blood
Its enough!
We will send this mail until this email arrives in any association defending the animals, we won’t only read. That would make us accomplices, viewers.
Take care of the world, it is your home!"

Snap!

Leave me Alone!

Ok, I have given out the warning.
Come near and you are going to get bitten!
Step on my 'tail' and I will make sure Yours is chopped off!
Snap!

*Roar*

Saw red two days ago.
I know how horribly bad tempered I can be during the first week of the red flood.

Allan knows me well enough.
When he notices that 'smoke' is coming out from the top of my head, he would try to stop whatever that's causing the fire to burn within.

It could be Himself being the cause too!
"Ok, we'll talk about this another day."
He's smart, he moves away.

It could be the Kids.
"Come boys, tell Papa what you want.... Papa will do it for you..... Don't disturb Mommy."

It could be a phone call.
He would sit and listen to my @$%#@.
Not giving any suggestions or comments, least I became angry with him instead.

Clever man is he.
He stays far far away from me during these few days.

During such days of the month,
I am extremely quiet,
Tired,
More naps.....

I use more energy on my mind power to prevent myself from adding more charcoal to the fireplace.
I do make extra effort.
I try....
I do...

Still, warning is out.
"Leave me Alone for at least 3 days from now!"

Global Internet Seminar

What can I say?!
One Word.....
OUTSTANDING!!!

3 days at Global Internet Seminar has truly been life changing.
I practically sign up for 'something' whenever I am at a seminar lately.

Today, I signed up with this other charming man......

Here's officially introducing my new Mentor *Drum Roll* >>>>
Shaun Stenning!
Isn't he Cute!
*wink*

***Damn! I was about to blink my eyes...*pout* Awful! Nahh... I'm not the focus, its the ONE in the MIDDLE!

No no no....
I didn't sign up because of his face!
I signed up because he had 'something' that can help me achieve my goal of having Financial Freedom even sooner.
Nope!
Not telling yet.....
*snicker*

I also get to take a shot with the man who inspired me 2 years ago, to clear my 7-years of retail stuff (which had been sitting in my storeroom) on eBay.
He is none other than Adam Ginsberg !

Sorry Adam, heard you 'loud and clear' twice, but never once signed up for your package.

Hair Fall, Dandruff Dilemma

Hey Friends, I SERIOUSLY need to hear YOUR VIEW on this. Many thanks....

More than 10years ago, I found a shampoo which completely controlled my dandruff and itchy scalp problem. It was Head and Shoulders. Even though many told me that it would make my hair fall more rapidly, hence balding sooner. I observed. Nope, it did not happen to me. I had 'normal' hair loss. Ever since I had started using it, I had not changed till few months ago.

Since the beginning of this year, I noticed my hair was thinning very badly. Likely due to late night sleep and stress. It increases its speed over the past 6 months. For those of you who had been following my blogs, the first 7 months of 2009 were simply chaotic, weren't it?!

Yet it seems that once the 'hair fall' start, there is no end to it. Hhhhmmmm.....

BaWang's commercials and posters were everywhere. I could not resist but try it. Especially when Allan dared to be the guinea pig few weeks earlier than me.

Though he complained that it gave him 'pimples' on his scalp, causing combing to be a real pain in the ***. He continued, because results were showing.

I tried.
Hmmm... not much effect.
No pimple.
No nothing.

Then I chanced upon this Korean Hair Loss Prevention Spray at my familiar salon.

I combined both.

TaaDaa!

It worked!
My hair loss was controlled PERFECTLY!
Yippee!

Happy like a little Jelly Bean, I continued using for months.

3 months ago, my friend picked out something white from my hair.
"Dandruff." my friend said.

OH SHIT!

So now what?!
My hair loss was controlled by the formidable pair, but my old problem came back to bug me.

The combination between the Korean Product and the Proctor and Gamble product was not working well at all!

Hhhmmm.... what would you do?
