Ok, Quiz for this week is Super Easy....
There are 7 apples.
6 of them weighed the same.
Only one of them is lighter in weight.
You have a beam balance, which you can use only twice.
How are you able to find out which apple is the lighter?
To make it more challenging.... (I'm evil *snicker*)
There are 2 different ways to find out the answer.
Give me BOTH ways.

i know i know.. finally 1 quiz i know the answer. :P
Put 3 apples each on the beam balance and leave 1 out. If the beam balances, the apple that was left out is the lighter one.
Else if the beam balance do not balance (lol!), take out the 3 apples that are lighter, and put 1 apple on each side and leave out another apple.
Same thing, if it balances, the apple that was left out is the answer. otherwise the apple that is lighter on the beam balance is the answer.
Right Right??

Because it is sooooooooooooooooooooooo easy,
I had asked for TWO different solutions to this question.
But you ONLY gave ONE solution.
So cannot give FULL MARKS.

There are 7 apples.. split into 4 apples and 3 apples.. put the 4 apples on the beam balance.. if they balance.. remove the 4 apples and place the remaining 2 apples on the balance and leave 1 out. if they balance, the 1 that was left out is the answer! if not, the ligher of the 2 is the answer!
if the initial 4 apples do not balance, take the lighter side (2 apples) and balance both on the beam balance. the lighter one is the answer!!
