On 24th Jan, Saturday, a couple treated open air diners to a 15-minute naked parade in Singapore, Holland Village, known for its popular nightspots.
Being a conservative city-state, this was against the law. But the witnesses were so excited. They were cheering, whistling and applauding like crazy. Camera in hand, flashlights were going on non-stop.
The Caucasian man and a petite Chinese woman, who looked like a Japanese, in their 20s, had been arrested and released on bail. If convicted under Singapore law, they could face a fine of maximum fine of S$2000 , up to 3 months in jail, or both.
Protests are rare in Singapore and only made legal last year, 2008 in a designated area called "Speakers' Corner", which is more like a park for bird watching now.
I wonder if they were drunk, or did they knowingly did it on purpose?

Wow....that's pretty wild! :o)
Protests were just made legal? I have to say, I'm grateful that we can protest any silly thing we want to in Canada. It's even legal for women to go topless in Ontario, although I don't see fully exposed boobies all that often in minus 30 degree weather!
lol did you put the hearts on the picture rofl !!!!
